Rally Candy Bar

Return to Index

The Rally candy bar was a chocolate bar that featured a nougat center, a coating of caramel, and was rolled in peanuts, all covered in chocolate. It has been largely discontinued in the U.S. for many years, though it has seen limited re-releases.

Description and Availability

Description: The Rally bar was known as a "crowded" bar, packed with a chewy nougat center, a layer of sweet caramel, and crunchy peanuts, all wrapped in a milk chocolate coating.

Discontinuation: The original U.S. Rally bar was discontinued around January 1979 due to rising costs of sugar and chocolate.

Availability: The bar has been brought back for limited runs on several occasions, such as in 2008 and 2013. A similar product with a slightly different recipe is sold by Hershey in the U.S. under the name Oh Henry!, while a version of the Oh Henry! bar is sold in Canada with a recipe more akin to the original Rally bar.
